Luke Lybrand
Luke Lybrand is Assistant Vice President for Finance and Treasury Management. He oversees the Office of Treasury Management (OTM), leading the management of the University’s cash operations and debt and liquidity strategy in support of the capital program.
Luke joins Harvard from the University of Tennessee (UT) System, where he served as Treasurer. He acted as fiduciary for the UT System’s cash and investment pools, consolidated endowment pool, research foundation assets, and affiliated entities.
Previously, Luke served as Associate Vice Chancellor for Treasury at the University of North Texas System. In that capacity, he chaired investment committees through pandemic-era market volatility and led bond issuances and liquidity planning initiatives. Luke began his career with Moody’s Investors Service and Regions Bank, developing expertise in municipal credit, debt structuring, and capital markets.
Luke earned a Master of Public Administration from the University of North Texas and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Texas A&M University.
